CVN-80 is the hull classification symbol for a proposed United States Navy Gerald R. Ford class aircraft carrier. CVN 80 is tentatively scheduled to be commissioned in 2021. CVN-80 is expected to replace USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) in the fleet, assuming that CVN-79 replaces USS Nimitz (CVN-68).
