NLOS Cannon 차세대 자주포

지난 6월 8일 정식 발표된 NLOS Cannon 초도형이 발표에 앞서 지난 4월 미국 애리조나 Yuma사격장에서 사격 시험중인 모습입니다. 미군 발표에 따르면 BAE사에서 1,000발째 사격 당시 촬영된 사진들이라고 합니다.

NLOS-C 는 FCS - Future combat system의 구성 요소 중 화력지원을 담당하는 자주포입니다. 24발의 자동장전장치로 XM-982 사거리 연장형 유도포탄을 발사할 수 있으며 C-130 수송기로 수송이 가능하도록 전투중량은 20t 이하로 제한되어 방어력에 한계를 가진 단점이 있습니다.

사정거리는 30km를 유지하도록 하며 특히 유도포탄을 사용한 정확도를 가지도록 개발하여 적은 휴대탄수로 인한 화력부족 문제를 정확한 타격으로 보완하려고 합니다.
